Customers Love River Ridge Farm's Garlic Lavender Herb Rub

"Good Morning I am in need of 3 more jars of your lavendar garlic rub. Now my friends are asking what tastes so good about everything I use it on. I infused some olive oil with it and had warm bread for dipping and they couldn't get enough of it. They couldn't figure out what it was that tasted so great, so when I put the jar under their nose and let them smell, they went crazy and wanted some immediately. HA Last time I was in Boise visiting my sister I purchased 3 jars and have just a small amount left and that was in June, so you can see I am going thru about 1 jar per month. Please let me know what the shipping charges are and the total cost and I will get a check in the mail to you. HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN MY HOME STATE IDAHO. LORRIE"

Hi, I think my wife picked this up at the Saturday morning market this past summer in Eagle? Anyway we live in Eagle and I need some more. I was thinking about getting maybe 6 jars and I could send some out as gifts too. I make all our bread and even my wife likes it and she doesnt really care for garlic. We have three Parrots who love it too! Can you take a credit card over the phone or where do I mail a check to?

Parrots: Zues the blue and gold amazon-female,15 years old. Zazu the double yellow head amazon-female,15 years old and Gizmo the yellow naped amazon-male, 20 years old. Three dogs too, a regular zoo!
Thank you, Patrick

Spring 2010

Well it sure has been wet. This is the most rain I can remember since we moved here five years ago. I love it. Everything is green and growing like a weed. Unfortunately the weeds have taken off and show no signs of stopping. Our lawn mower quite working and we are way behind on the trimming and mowing. We ordered a bush wacker and it is on back order unti June 15th. We have plans to borrow the neighbor's mower. Plants in the greenhouse are growing well and much of the lavender needs to be repotted into 4" pots. We have 8 pigs this year. It will be a challenge to keep the pig "aroma" away from the lavender during the festival. We plan to dry out their pen and are contemplating moving them temporarily. We bought 15 buff orphington hens and they are doing so well. When I look out to the chicken coop they look like little speckles of sunshine. Now that school is out many of the get-to-laters are going on the hurry-up-and-get-done lists. I will work to keep up the blog in my spare time. Hope to see you at the festival July 10 and 11, 2010.
