Customers Love River Ridge Farm's Garlic Lavender Herb Rub

"Good Morning I am in need of 3 more jars of your lavendar garlic rub. Now my friends are asking what tastes so good about everything I use it on. I infused some olive oil with it and had warm bread for dipping and they couldn't get enough of it. They couldn't figure out what it was that tasted so great, so when I put the jar under their nose and let them smell, they went crazy and wanted some immediately. HA Last time I was in Boise visiting my sister I purchased 3 jars and have just a small amount left and that was in June, so you can see I am going thru about 1 jar per month. Please let me know what the shipping charges are and the total cost and I will get a check in the mail to you. HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN MY HOME STATE IDAHO. LORRIE"

Hi, I think my wife picked this up at the Saturday morning market this past summer in Eagle? Anyway we live in Eagle and I need some more. I was thinking about getting maybe 6 jars and I could send some out as gifts too. I make all our bread and even my wife likes it and she doesnt really care for garlic. We have three Parrots who love it too! Can you take a credit card over the phone or where do I mail a check to?

Parrots: Zues the blue and gold amazon-female,15 years old. Zazu the double yellow head amazon-female,15 years old and Gizmo the yellow naped amazon-male, 20 years old. Three dogs too, a regular zoo!
Thank you, Patrick

Farm Sustainability Ideas

Now that the sun has decided to come out we are enjoying drying our clothes outside. I positioned the clothes line over a row of lavender to impart a nice gentle lavender aroma. I have found that undergarments take up a lot of space and work (attaching one clothes pin per item). So I use our field fencing to dry those items. Instead of spraying everything to death I use the sun and some clear plastic left over from my cold frame. I use the clear because it helps the plants to germintate because of the nice warm environment. Then it gets too hot and kills them. Black plastic will work but it won't germinate seeds. If it is not real hot where you are you can add water on top of the clear plastic to increase the temperature. If you can leave it on a couple extra days in order to kill roots that are deeper in the soil.
